Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil

I am completely in love with anything to do with Moroccan/Argan oil so I absolutely loved this Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil hair mask (RRP $20).

I originally purchased this after a friend bleached and dyed my hair about a year ago, so my hair was all dry and dull looking and the ends were all split and rough. After the first use I had already noticed a difference in my hair - especially the ends. Instead of having rough dry ends, the mask had made them feel much softer and less obviously split.

Generally hair masks are only required once a week, however I used this mask whenever I felt like my ends needed rejuvenating.

John Frieda Full Repair Flyaway Tamer

So I don't know if anyone else gets the crazy hair days where your flyaways almost make you look like you've been electrocuted. No matter what you do you can't seem to flatten those hairs on the top of your head! A straightener won't work nor will your hairspray! I have been there and done that.

I wasn't even looking for a product to calm those flyaways when I saw the John Frieda Full Repair Flyaway Tamer (RRP $16). I thought I may as well try it out!

The liquid inside houses Inca Inchi Oil which smoothes down flyaways and gives your hair a polished look. The best thing is  that you can take it anywhere for on-the-go touch ups! You can also use it on coloured or chemically-treated hair.

The tamer looks like a mascara wand so all you have to do is brush the wand over your roots as you would with mascara on your lashes. I would recommend using the tamer BEFORE straightening or curling and go over the 'tamed' area with your straightener to make doubly sure that the hairs stay put.

I would highly recommend trying this tamer out for yourself, especially if you suffer from flyaways with a mind of their own!

Nude by Nature Bright Eyes

Yes I am a HUGE Nude by Nature fan since I tried one of their starter packs so there shouldn't be any surprise when I review more products from their range!

I have already used products like Nude by Nature's Bright Eyes stick (RRP $19.95) but I really wanted to see how Nude's would compare.

In all honesty I loved using this product! I use it every night before bed and after my shower/face cleansing and moisturizing routine.

The substance inside feels like in between a liquid and a gel and provides a cooling sensation under my eyes. In the morning I can also visibly see the difference in my under eye bags, compared to before I started using Bright Eyes. My 'bags' are less noticeable making me look less tired in the morning.

L'oreal Superliner Blackbuster

So I was desperate to find a new eyeliner that would manage to stay on all day without fading or smearing, when I found L'oreal's Superliner Blackbuster (RRP roughly $10-15).

Unfortunately the eyeliner did exactly what it's competitors did too; it faded and smeared.

I found that the liner didn't produce even levels of black colour as I applied it, and even with a finishing spray on top of my make-up, the liner still didn't last. Additionally, even though the liner was easy to apply, it was a little more difficult to achieve the 'winged look' with the shape of the tip.

Australis Finishing Spritz

As a fan of Australis, I tend to buy their products with full faith in their abilities. When I bought their Make-up Finishing Spritz (RRP $15 Aus) I was again completely happy with another Australis purchase.

For a little while I had been wanting to give finishing sprays a try, and see whether they really do work in maintaining make-up's longevity. However I could not seem to find any in stores apart from this product by Australis. Obviously it was a sign to try it!

After my first use I noticed that the spray dries quickly and easy after application, feels really refreshing on my skin and has a sweet smell to it. In addition, my make-up stays fresh all day without me seeing a desperate need for a touch up! This is, in a nutshell, what the bottle also states the spray does.

Furthermore, although I have not done this the bottle says that the spritz can be used as a "revitalizing pick-me-up" as the day wears on.

I would definitely urge you to give this spray a go and if you feel it necessary use a finishing powder as well.

Herbal Essences Tousling Hairspray

If you are one of those people who has to use hairspray after straightening or curling your hair then you probably know exactly what I mean AND how I feel!
My hair just feels and looks so dry, rough and stringy after using hairspray, but unfortunately if I want a super firm hold there isn't much else I can do. That is until I found Herbal Essences Tousling Hairspray (RRP roughly $12 Aus)!

Not only does the spray smell so good and leave my hair feeling much softer than if I were to use hairspray, but it actually holds my curls just enough to last the day. My hair also remains easily brushed unlike when you use other hairspray products.

I certainly recommend trying Herbal Essences Tousling Hairspray. Just a quick spray all over and a scrunch with your hands (if you are trying to hold curls) and voila!

And, if you find that the product doesn't satisfy your needs after purchasing, at least it will provide you with a sweet smelling spray for your hair!

Sally Hanson Salon Effects Polish Strips

I do not know if anyone else has tried these nail polish "stickers"  but I was not too happy with the Sally Hansen french mani strips (RRP $15 Aus). Usually the Sally Hanson brand is impeccable when it comes to nail artistry, however I think they had better stick with nail polishes and those of the likes.

Firstly, the nail strips came with separate white tips and clear strips which made the stickers significantly harder to master. Think about trying to put a tiny white tip onto your nail without the sticker sticking to your skin or stretching out of shape!

Secondly, the box came  with 8 white tips (because we don't have 10 fingers anymore?) and over half a dozen clear strips. Things were not really working out for me...

And lastly, the stickers were so hard to remove from their backing! Especially when the instructions weren't clear enough on which end belonged at the tip of the nail nor how to put the tip on efficiently!

I think it is safe to say that I will be sticking (no pun intended haha) with the Sally Hansen NAIL POLISH rather than the nail sticker strips.
