So in case you are stuck at home on a Friday or Saturday night, I suggest you rip open a packet of lollies, dig into some chocolate and watch Ferris Bueller's Day Off (RRP $7 Aus). You shan't be disappointed!
Ferris Bueller's Day Off is such an entertaining film with a lot of comedic moments in it. The main character Ferris is quite witty and calculating with his attempts to ditch school for a day, and avoid the principal who is hunting Ferris down to catch him in the act. It is quite an adventure and you find yourself drawn into the film so quickly, quite possibly as a result of Ferris' monologue at the start of the film which he speaks straight into the camera.
The gist of the film is simply how Ferris spends his day off from school and avoids being caught by his school principal and family. There are so many close calls all culminating to a final 'showdown'.
If you love comedy or adventure films I highly recommend Ferris Bueller's Day Off. It is one of my favourite older films and it won't disappoint!
